Kathy Boyle That was my take on the situation, one time for relief and to let the dog inside. We had a liter of collie pups that one got infested so bad he was lethargic and we used blue Dawn to bathe him that night and the vet said we more than likely saved his life that night.

Marilyn Shaw Dlabaj Rushing we disagree. We use all natural shampoos. We will use a toxic flea & ticks med one time to fleas & eggs. But otherwise we treat our dogs w care & all natural, non toxic flea prevention.

🔴 UPDATE: Frustrating Outcome 😪 Just as our volunteer was on his way to pick the dog, a neighbor came forward to claim him. This sweet senior was found flea-infested and left outside in 90 degree heat for over 8 hrs. We tried our best to negotiate a surrender to the rescue, but the owner refused, stating he has had the dog since he was 8 weeks old. We can only hope this pup lives out his remaining years in much better condition than he was found in today 🐾❤️

Verna Faye Chapmon it was my understanding that he was scanned and the owners have not responded and it’s the people where he showed up at that can’t take him inside because they have two dogs, but were spraying him down to try to keep him cool. And maybe their dogs don’t get along with other dogs? I would have tried to give him a bath and put him in a separate room from the others.

If you still have him, can you place the fan front of him on porch. I understand about the fleas. Shake the powder on his skins and something to relief the discomfort and itchy. Im sorry he had to deal with that. Praying an angel will pick it up to a safe, loving home till its adopted. Thanks for all you do. You are appreciated.
