Courage has been loved by me since the day he was born. He has been with me for over 14 years. Together we have watched my 3 kids growing up. I want to be there for him for the rest of his life. Please help bring him .

Please hang up flyers ASAP with Courage’s photo and your contact information. Go out early or late when it’s quiet with a flashlight, and call his name softly. Look in bushes, culvert, and anywhere he might have gone to escape a bigger dog or predator. You have to look for little dogs. Contact nearby shelters and vets to ask if he’s been reported seen or turned in. Ask if they will share your Lost Dog flyer electronically with their sister organizations. Post on Nextdoor to reach the many local people who don’t use Facebook. Nextdoor has an active lost and found pet section, is free, and helped friends and us locate our missing pets when no other site did. If you think he’s been stolen, regularly check for him on Petfinder, Craig’s List, Marketplace, and other sites where people post dogs for rehoming or sale. Best of luck finding Courage!

General Information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.
