Message from Owner

He went missing yesterday night (may 20th) as of now , and I haven't slept since. Calling him again and again, looking at every crevasse of my street. I've put up flyers, talked to neighbours, called animal services, animal control, and I'm in a tough period of a waiting game. Please if you see my cat report it, I can't imagine how scared he is right now. He does also have a microchip, Thank you for your help.

Ask neighbors if you can check their backyards yourself they tend to stay close to home 🙏

You’ve already done some of these tips. I know of two lost cats recently that were trapped in garages. (They were rescued). - [ ] The kitty is probably hiding close to home and scared. Call the kitty’s name softly morning noon and night. Late at night. Rattle a treats bag. Put out toys and food and water. Rig up a cat shelter - place articles of clothing and blankets that smell like home in the shelter. Posters work. Make posters and put them up everywhere with your phone number visibly on the poster. Ask for sightings. Don’t give up.

Tanya Di Giovanni I hope so too, they usually are nearby and well hidden, rememeber he won't come to your voice and that is so frustrating.

He will be scared and hiding so you have to search in every hiding spot. Search your yard thoroughly. Then ask to search your neighbours' yards as cats usually run and hide in a neighbour's yard bc it is closest. Most cats do not respond when lost outside so do not just walk around and call for him but search, looking at ground level. Search IN ANY small space, under Decks, bbqs, behind bins, in window wells, etc. Ask your neighbours to help you search their yard or have them watch you in their yard. Ask each neighbour to open their garage in case he is trapped. Check at least 3-5 yards on either side of you & across the street and keep expanding. Many cats are found hiding in a small space. Go out also at dusk and dawn when it is quiet, with a flashlight and search. Stay up at night and search! The more YOU search day and night immediately, the greater the chance of getting him back. He is a very beautiful cat.
