Message from Owner

He went missing yesterday night (may 20th) as of now , and I haven't slept since. Calling him again and again, looking at every crevasse of my street. I've put up flyers, talked to neighbours, called animal services, animal control, and I'm in a tough period of a waiting game. Please if you see my cat report it, I can't imagine how scared he is right now. He does also have a microchip, Thank you for your help.

Roz Klaimanyes I've done everything mentioned, I really thank you for this care and information. He is in fact neutered. I will try the soft calling and litter/food outside. I'm also going to try going door to door in my neighborhood/cross neighborhoods past 4-5 when many people are back from work or school. Again thank you so much for responding in such a caring way!!! I hope I find him

Shared. Note that TWO days is a long time to a cat so you have no time to waste. If you have not yet done so, notify Richmond Hill Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Note that intact male cats can travel long distances in search of females in heat and have trouble finding their way home. Alert local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. Also alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. Leave his used littler and some food and water in hidden places near that door now and check in the early evening. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5-10 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make an loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe
