My two little boys and I drove 4 hours one way to pick up Loui and make him our family. He is like just one of the boys. He loves to play outside but he also loves to come in at bed time and go to sleep with us. He is loving to people, but may give other male cats a hard time. We hope you’re ok Loui, we miss you buddy. Please if anyone has seen him contact me.

So why is he outside….. I suppose the only answer I can give is because he wants to be. Do I wish he wasn’t declawed on his front paws yes but he is. I know it’s dangerous but I would go insane if I were held captive inside a home and only allowed to watch the outside from a window. I’m sorry but that is just mean when your pet likes to be out there and you won’t allow them to be.

Loui has no front claws still has his back claws, and I am not the one who declawed him. Regardless he still loves to be outside so he goes outside. He has for over 3 years now always been fine the first year of his life he didn’t go outside. He stays right around our house though and doesn’t just live out there he plays out there hangs out on the porch and he uses the bathroom outside because that’s just him, he won’t touch the litter box.

Why is he lost if he has no claws? So dangerous to let cats out of the house who have no defense.

Put his litter box, or other items that so he can recognize familiar smells. I had a cat that got out and was gone almost a month. I went out and kept calling her name. Then one evening she showed up looking pretty bad. She wouldn't come to me, finally grabbed her with food motivation. Hang in there and keep searching. He's probably still scared. You might post some flyers in the neighborhood to. Someone my have rescued him and he's not where he can get back to you. I know not knowing is so hard. Best wishes
