Megan Mason Martinez no worries you had no idea regarding the clothing that smells like you - and you are operating on panic mode. If you set up a scent station using your worn clothing - not something of hers - as a pet tracker said they already know what they smell like - they are trying to get to you. A success story is one girl sprayed her perfume on the 4 tires of her car and the cat was found under the car. I wish you all the best. Please keep us posted. 🙏

Suzan Reynolds Thank you for the advice. I stayed there all day. I will go back tomorrow, they fence it up at night and its in a very industrial area. I was not smart enough to leave something that smells like us. I will take it tomorrow.

Owners - Go back to the location where the cat went missing as the cat will usually circle back to the location where they first went missing eventually. Stay there - in one localized area and set up a scent station using a scent that the cat is familiar with - worn clothing or shoes from the owner. Hang that scent out high so that it can travel and guide the cat back to that area. Post fliers with your contact information and cats picture in the location that the cat went missing --especially for those not on social media. If the cat is spotted the information can help provide what direction it was traveling. Check with local animal shelters in case he was picked up. Prayers your cat is found safely.
