Put out a Havahart Large 1-Door Live Animal Trap for Raccoons, Cats, Bobcats, Beavers | Heavy Duty Humane Catch and Release Cage Trap for Outdoor Pest Control, 1079SR https://a.co/d/093f5eew with an article of clothing with your scent on it and some cat food at the Fire Station.

Take his scratching pad the broom you sweep the hair with her bed and go to the area where you lost her and shake it out the car window like Hansel and Gretel followed the path and you have to be patient until she shows up maybe at dusk I did that and I found my cat. It’s kind of crazy but it works.

Put an article of clothing with your scent on it on your porch close to where she got out. Cats have a wonderful sense of smell and will come to those items. Leave a window cracked nearby so that you can hear her. Cats usually don’t go more than a few houses in any direction, so post pictures around the neighborhood and on doors. Ask neighbors to keep an eye out and to check garages and sheds. Cats hide, usually fairly close by. They tend to come out after dark, so look for her then. Call and rattle a treat can if she likes those. If you put food out, stay close by, because it will also attract other animals that might scare her away. Don't leave it out very long. Also, go in person to shelters and vets' offices, and leave a picture and phone number there. I hope you find her!

She’ll stay close by, hiding well and will most likely not come out until middle of the night. I’m survival mode, it’ll take her a few minutes to recognize familiar voices. They hide well, look in and under everything close by! Dirty close out as well these additional tips apply

Barbara Cass Fire Dept took the truck back with the cat after driver was sent to hospital. Unfortunately the window was left open enough for her to get out.
