Message from Owner

My cat fluffy got out on me and October 2025 I thought she was posted on here as she is posted on next door fine Toby etc... I am disabled and when I was letting our dogs out to go to the bathroom she ran out the door on me and I had a doctor's appointment and head to leave she had got out on me once before but came back and was sitting on the back deck My fiance and I have made flyers hung them up set traps up trying to get her she was and it is very much loved and missed not only from me and her daddy but her fur brother and sisters she is microchipped and I know it has been a few months now and I'm trying not to lose hope in her coming back but it's kind of hard now I feel so horrible because she got out on me and I am in a wheelchair and couldn't get out to look for her as I wanted to now my fiance was out looking for her as some of my neighbors is well she is a beautiful cat and very shy and skittish as I said before we haven't stopped looking for her and I have called so many places in hopes that someone found her and took her to be scanned for a microchip I am starting to lose hope and I have been worried sick about her especially since the weather has been so cold like I said she is posted on almost every site and I don't know how I missed this one. Any info would help thank you

❤️❤️ Sorry your baby is gone missing 😢 Check the lost/ found pet sites and there are many. Also take an active look.. Outside late around 10 pm to 4 am This is when it’s more quiet and all the animals are active. Take her favorite smelly food Call her name softly Use flashlight to see glowing eyes in the dark. She’ll overcome her fears and remember who you are ❤️ Most likely hide from a stranger Hopefully return home ! Best of luck ! Go find your baby ❤️

Talk softly when calling late night and during the night to early morning when it quite out .. Might wait in between to see if you hear them meow nearby .... For indoor cats if there is any way you could leave your door garage door or window slightly ajar if possible they know where they got out .. If you didn't see them get out check deep dresser drawers, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, under beds in box springs, behind the frig, the stove, behind or under the sofa, under or in the recliner the washer/dryer or inside if left open .. bat crawl space .. attic .. anywhere small or behind a cat can hide they will! If out cats will hide during the day and are more active late evening near dark to early morning , daybreak ... have a spot light to shine to see eyes in the dark .. they are usually close by and will often come back to the door .. or hide under bushes or decks to feel safe ! Also check crawl spaces under houses , garages, sheds of neighbors nearby ...No food out after dark it will attract area strays and wildlife to the area ... check culvert pipes .. storm drains .. up trees .. and colder weather they will get under car hoods for warmth and on tires also ...this can happen and they could be miles from home . Cats in a new home need at least 30 days to adjust to a new area and may and will travel to get back to their old home .. In some cases a set trap may be needed and monitored! A Trail cam or night vision goggles can help to monitor the areas outside! Post to Nextdoor Ask neighbors to check their Ring Doorbells... Beware of loose and roaming dogs in the area as they will chase and your cats! For automatic garage doors please place a 6x6 block or cinder block so that the door will not come all the way down and trap your pet as they can be injured! Check with area Shelters, Animal Control, and Vets offices also put flyers ... Am sure you have tried most all of these! Don't give up!!

IF YOUR CAT GETS OUT 🐾📌 Please Take Our Tips: TAKE OUR SUGGESTIONS NO MATTER HOW CRAZY THEY SOUND TO YOU Put a pile of unlaundered clothing, bedsheets , pillowcases and socks in your lawn...and hang some from your fence/bushes. Empty the contents of used litter box and household vacuum cleaner bag/canister across the lawn. Leave bowls of smelly food out - tuna/sardines, rotisserie or Kentucky fried chicken Turn on BBQ - cook hot dogs and bacon. SCENT IS EVERYTHING !! Do these things right now! FLIERS MUST GO UP ASAP TO GET SIGHTINGS. Every pole/tree/neighbors stoops/porches. Offer reward. Give fliers to mailman, UPS drivers, fed ex drivers, etc. Local supermarket, dry cleaners, drug store should have a flier. Call local precinct and report the cat as lost. Ditto for shelters. You must visit shelters - the person on the phone doesn't know every pet brought in. Delegate to friends so that you get the posters up ASAP!!!! Go out searching, especially when it's dark and quiet - early AM and later in evening. Carry tuna and heated Kentucky Fried Chicken for scent. Bring a bag of treats to shake when you call out its name and then just stop and listen for faint meowing. We've recently reunited cats that were stuck in neighbor's sheds/garages! Look under bushes, in/behind sheds, or neighbor's porches with flashlight. It'll make the cat's eyes glow so you can spot it. Don't drive around! If your cat is an indoor only cat, it hasn't travelled more than 2-4 blocks away. Look on your neighbor's properties. Written by Josephine Chianetta This is from a study that was done on lost cats: Cats are very different from dogs when panicked. They are territorial and your cat’s territory was inside of your home. Once a cat is transplanted into unfamiliar territory, fear sets in and it seeks shelter because it is afraid. They panic immediately and look to hide usually near the escape point or within a 5-house radius of their home where they've never been before. Cats that are afraid (and cats that are injured) will seek areas of concealment such as under a deck, under a house, under a porch, or in heavy brush and they will not meow! Panicked cats hide in silence. Silence is their only protective measure from predators. They can stay concealed for days, sometimes weeks! Just because you don’t see or hear your cat DOES NOT mean he or she is not right there, hiding in fear from the loud noises, etc. they will not meow! Meowing would give up their location to a predator. Their behavior has nothing to do with whether the cat loves you, whether it recognizes your voice, or whether it can smell you–it has everything to do with the fact that a frightened cat will hide in silence! The Threshold Factor: This is an interesting behavioral pattern that Missing Pet Partnership has observed with displaced cats. Many of these cats initially hide in silence, but eventually break cover and meow, return to their home or the escape point (window or door), or finally enter a humane trap. While some cats take only hours or a few days to reach their threshold, many others take several days (typically ten to twelve days) before they break cover. We suspect the threshold is reached due to their thirst, although more research needs to be conducted into this behavior. In an attempt to capture your cat, use humane traps in your yard or in your neighbor’s yard where your cat is likely hiding in fear. If you choose not to, place small amounts of cat food (and water) and hopefully you’ll eventually be able to determine where the cat is hiding. Written by Donna Harmon McNeff .

Cats normally don't go far from home. There are organizations that look for missing pets since you are disabled. I had a cat got into a neighbors bat and was there for a week until the man open the door out came Shadow the man remember seeing Shadow picture. I believe in flyers which you have done. Have friends walk neighborhoods day and evening comb the areas. Check sheds they do hide. Check shelters. I hope you fine your sweet kitty safe 💗
