Mari Moctezuma don’t take your eyes off of him as you would be surprised how resourceful dogs are when they are fearful to jump over fences or dig under. Please get this dog checked for a chip. Animal Control could come to your house to check and you can keep him with you on a stray hold at your home if you don’t want him to go to the shelter, but he does have to be put on a stray hold and registered through the Shelter so an Owner has their lawful right to reclaim their dog. Thank you for keeping it safe. It sure looks like a dog that’s been posted as missing.

Erica Sandoval People can’t take dogs personally. They are in “fight or flight” mode; you may have learned about that in school when it comes to humans. But dogs do the same thing and the flight is specially high when they are in an unknown surrounding.

Take this dog to the shelter that is where it’s humans are gonna look for it. Not everybody has Facebook not everybody has next-door and not everybody speaks your language so they will be going to the shelter looking for this dog. If somebody doesn’t claim him then you can go adopt the dog legally. And if the dog doesn’t work out while your housing them and you decide a month from now that you don’t want the dog, the owners never had the opportunity to find their dog, so take him to the shelter.
