MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Missing Cat: Our outdoor cat, Mister Kitty, has been missing since 2/14. He was last seen in our yard around 7:30AM on camera, the morning of 2/14. He's solid gray with beautiful green eyes. He has light stripes on his tail if you look closely. He is a short hair, but with it being cold outside his fur looked a little fluffier. He's neutered and microchipped. He's very friendly and affectionate. Very food motivated. Normally stays at the corner of 7th and Cedar. He doesn't roam much but did visit the neighbors along 7th street between Cedar and Hackberry. It was Ash Wednesday at the Catholic Church across the street and he liked to go over there sometimes. He has a bad habit of jumping in my car if I left the door open, so he may have unexpectedly gotten a ride with someone. He was wearing his black stretchy collar, that has blue and silver reflective flecks and a metallic blue bell on it. He had a tag on his collar that has his name "Mister" and our address and my phone number. He also had dangling metal tags that say "outdoor cat", "do not feed", and "microchipped." His microchip is registered with Again, so we were hoping someone would find him and call us. He is used to a schedule and never missed his meals or snacks, so being gone this long is very unusual. If you think you have seen him or know where he is, please let us know. We'd love to have him back . If you have him and want to bring him back, no questions asked. Or please take him to Bandera Vet Clinic and I will pick him up.

DESCRIPTION

Gray with light stripes on his tail, green eyes, black nose. Was wearing a black stretch collar with blue and silver reflective flecks, a name plate and hanging tags and bell.

Put out food, water, and some of YOUR dirty clothes (dirty socks are nice and stinky)/blankets (dry in dryer first to enhance smell). because of the weather, you might want to put out a plastic tub with the blankets for shelter. Go out every morning and evening walking (folks seem successful around 10:30 p.m., but don't go alone) with food/treats in bowl rattling it, calling your cats name. Do NOT give up. There was a cat a week or so ago, they went out every night for 5 nights, finally on the 5th night, they heard it's meow, it was trapped in a neigbors shed. Another was hiding in a tree from the neighbor's dogs. Check buildings, bushes, trees, and storm drains around your house. Also in the house/garage, keep all doors/closets open in case it's hiding in the house. Put neon Lost Cats signs all over your neighborhood, give to vets, and the shelter. Also have magnets made of your lost cat sign and stick on your car. Contact the chip company if chipped. Post to Lost Cats facebook page, petfbi.org, nextdoor.com, and pawboost.com (ignore cost, do not put in credit card info, its free)
