Annette Pape sorry you had to add this to your stress. Everyone knows the dangers out there. I truly believe someone caught her that night in the hard rain, being chased and have yet to seek you!! I know how you have searched for hours at a time, day and night, coming from an hour + away. I’ve seen you on your hands and knees looking under debris, bushes, vehicles, you name it. I’ve known you to go in places none of us helping you, would. In muddy woods, that surround the area, the flyers, signs, Re-putting up signs after they disappear!! Talking to neighbors in that area and handed them flyers. Going to vets, groomers, pet stores, dog parks and posting flyers where allowed. Posting online and updating everyday. Following and checking thoroughly, every lead, every possible sighting! Setting up familiar scent stations, walking and searching with flashlights, strong smelling food, familiar dogs to pinenut, then to her. No sleep. Talking to ground crews, construction site crews, businesses, Bellevue College security, checking what cameras allowed. Trying to get help. Costs and hard work to making the materials, getting supplies and getting signage up all over the area. I know how hard you have worked to find your baby girl!!! I know her bolting out the door from a house you both were visiting, wasnt opened by you but a friend and how hard that too has been. Pinenut is truly lost in a area unknown to her. You’ve heard everyone’s thoughts and suggestions and reply so kindly, even though has to be so painful to be shared those things, those thoughts of why they think could have happened but we see ALL the bunnies out there, a main food source for many predators, you’ve done all the suggestions shared to you, from the beginning, thru out and continue to. Being Pinenut is a digger, will opt to hide because she is skittish of strangers, she eats little, needs little, her fur long and can give her warmth and she has and can run fast!!!! If that night she bolted out the door and the Bellevue college students chased her and no sightings since that night panned out as her so far, I wonder if she was caught. Don’t know of course so that’s why the search continues on foot and posts refreshed and checks with the shelter, vets and groomers, checked continually. Pinenut is a little doll. She’s quiet, fun, cute as can be, and I could see someone falling in love with her. The reward came later, in hopes to reach anyone who finds her to please reunite her with her owner!! You could t have a nicer owner, who would not question but be so happy to know her baby was and us safe and back with her. Annette needs help with direction, any information to helping her get pinenut back to her. Please keep looking for her!! If you or anyone you know, know anything, reach out to Annette, piney yes true owner. Thank you.

Sandi Callahan you have valid points, there are signs EVERYWHERE. i am not ready to accept that she has met her fate. i am sure everyone has thought this in the back of their mind but they have chosen to be supportive and helpful. Please share the post, it would mean a lot to me.
