There are still ways to check a chip even if it's not registered. I know there's Microchip Hunters and there's other places that still can check where a chip originated even if it's not registered. Many rescues ask the adopter to register the chip and don't register it for the people. And people that are adopting are expected to register, but there's a way to find out who originated the chip. Please make sure if somebody claims that they have good proof that it is their cat because there's many evil people out there that only mean harm to animals 😥 Thank you for helping. I hope you're keeping this baby safe.......

Please check for a chip. Can you bring inside even in bathroom? Provide food and water.
