*Notify animal control, non emergency police & shelters & post to YOUR local city & county pages!
*On Facebook: Read Buddha’s LOST PET Things To Do (great flier template) & great resources!
*PLEASE be careful of those comments directing you to other apps like Instagram & DO NOT send money OR codes to anyone including those directing you to a different app!!
*FLIERS EVERYWHERE in weatherproof sleeves!
*If you’re not able to hire a professional trapper, and when there is a sighting, notify animal control again asap, so they may be able to assist.
*Trapper: Hound Hunters NJ send message through the Facebook page
-*Northern New Jersey contact TYCO Animal Control Services. Provides services for 22 towns
*I do not know anything about this trapper but you can look into it. Google Jim Tierney “The Intuitive Walker” from Brooklyn. He is a dog trapper & does charge! He does come to NJ. He found the lost dog at Newark Airport AND ask your community if they can recommend a professional, reputable trapper.
*Check notifications on Ring Doorbell & ask neighbors to check their rings‼️
*Go in person to shelters to see if your pet is there & ask shelter(s) if they can help trap if a trapper is not available
*Post on NextDoor app to reach more locals
*Keep your lines of communication open with your contact no. for messenger, etc. for any sightings.
*Dogs know their owners scent. Leave out worn items like socks, T-shirts etc.
