White with brown spot over its right eye, no collar, skinny & timid

We saw this dog timidly wandering through yards, it barked a few times, ran to a distance when we tried to offer it some water. We couldn't get a very clear picture but did get a good look at it: mostly white dog, medium size breed but skinny, brown spot over the right eye. Hope it gets , if it's lost!

Put food & water outside in place he/she can access. Did you contact animal control?

Please put out some food. It will be easier to get to safety if you feed him. Warm some chicken so he can smell it.
