Hi, I’m the wife, I don’t have Facebook so I’m replying using my husbands account, but anyways… Thank you to everyone for your comments and concerns. I am an LVN so I am very aware of the requirements and care they both need now and for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately I can’t do anything yet as far as microchip, vaccines, alterations, etc etc until after Tuesday. Once the hold on them is released they will get the care required. The female will need spayed and a hernia repair. The male will need neutered and his rear dewclaw removed as he only has 1. They’ll also get vaccinated along with parasite screening and lab work done. Per animal protective service we have to make many attempts to find the owners first so we’ve done pawboost, Nextdoor, other social medias, and a report with animal control.
