Zaira Rosales It's a sad situation I have four cats and two dogs I wish I could help but I did read that somebody on this post was willing to step up and help. I don't know if you read that. I would take him to the pound have you checked to see if they're chipped?

Gina Cruz Martinez well I seen another post regarding these dogs that they were found and no one claimed them so those people dumped them and I found them. If they belong to someone and they were posted months ago then why weren’t they claimed then. Mind you these dogs were recently groomed so if they were claimed then they were either dumped by the other people who found them or they got out. Either way I can’t keep them in my apartment would u like to foster them then until the owners finally claimed them or should I just take them to the pound let me know

Don't ever give any dogs away that first of all don't belong to you you found them. You did the right thing by making a post your next thing is going to be to take them to the pound that's the first place the owners are going to look. Just a reminder it is illegal for you to give the dogs away stay safe thank you for having a compassionate heart and keeping them safe

Thank you for being so kind to help keep these found fur babies safe. Here’s some guidance steps of additional things to do: 🐶 IF YOU FIND A LOST DOG 🐶 Please take these steps to help reunite them with their family: 1. Post Online: Share on local lost & found pet pages and apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring (Neighbors app) • Local Facebook groups 2. Scan for a Microchip: Take the dog to a vet or animal shelter to scan for a chip. Many rescuers also carry scanners - ask around! 3. Put Up “FOUND DOG” Signs: Hang posters in the neighborhood - NOT everyone uses social media. 4. File a Found Report with Your Local Shelter. This is essential and often legally required. 5. Foster if You Can: If safe and possible, keep the dog in your care until the owner is found. Be sure to request proof of ownership (photos, vet records, etc.).
