Black long hair cat

I’ve seen this cat roaming around for a while now, but it has started coming onto my front porch and back patio. There’s no collar so I just assumed it lived in the area and would come around here because I have cats. However, today I noticed a large chunk of hair missing from the other side. I wasn’t able to get a picture of it. won’t let me get too near. Does this belong to anybody?
