Are you able to secure inside to keep from a coyote getting him/her? 🐾 IF YOU FIND A CAT 🐾 Here’s what to do to help reunite a lost kitty with their family: 1. Post Online Share the found cat on local lost/found pet Facebook pages and neighborhood apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighborhood • Local community groups 2. Check for a Microchip Take the cat to a nearby veterinarian or animal shelter to be scanned for a microchip. • Many animal rescuers have their own scanner and may be able to help. • Always use a secure cat crate or carrier to prevent escapes. 3. Put Up “FOUND CAT” Signs Not everyone is on social media! Post signs around the neighborhood - especially near where the cat was found. 4. File a Found Report This is very important.
