Put his litter box on your porch, along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. If you put out food and water, keep watch on it so that you don't attract other animals. Leave a window cracked so that you can hear him if he calls to you. Put up notices in the neighborhood, and check in garages and sheds. They usually do not go very far. Call and look for him particularly at dawn and dusk, as that is when they tend to come out of hiding.
