Rufus is Missing in Olympia, WA

Message from Owner

Rufus got away from my mother this week while I was out of town. It was the very first time I'd been gone for more than a few hours and I wonder if this spooked him. My mom's pretty devastated he was lost on her watch, but he is a nervous guy and was probably confused why his safe human was gone. He is incredibly skittish and probably won't come if called and will run if approached. There is a slight chance he could be lured with crunchy treats, especially if he has not been able to eat. If you happen to have spotted him around please please, please let me know. He has a pink velvet collar with a bell and airtag. Not sure what's wrong with his airtag, but it is not responsive. 😭 We just adopted him in April so he must be so scared. Needless to say I'm heartbroken and worried sick for his safety. We are in the Scott Lake area and there are fast roads and wildlife out here. Any spotting you could share will at least give me an idea what direction to focus my search on or learn if he's been hurt. 💔 Thank you for keeping an eye out for my big boy.
