💔💔💔 *** MISSING SERVICE DOG *** 💔💔💔 My baby girl has been missing for over a month now. Please, God, help me find her. Her name is Cassini (like the Saturn Rover), but she answers to Cassie or CassieBear. She is a registered service dog & microchipped. Disappeared from LCR 793 in Groesbeck TX 76642 near Lake Limestone in the E. Navasota/Old Union area during a storm. She’s younger in most of these pics, she’s ~13 y/o now. Sweetest girl ever, but super shy with strangers. She spent years of her life serving our country and humanity in multiple disaster zones, bringing love and light and comfort everywhere she went. After this long, she could be absolutely anywhere in Texas by now and she is familiar with many different areas, so please keep an eye out for her EVERYWHERE and share as widely as possible. She is also a rescue alumni from Austin Pets Alive!, adopted in 2015. Vet listed on her microchip is Emancipet. *If anyone sees her and is concerned about approaching because of her size, please know she is absolutely NOT aggressive and is both fully vaccinated & very well trained, so it’s safe to approach. Just come in gently because she is likely very scared with a naturally shy temperament, and may freeze or bolt if chased too aggressively, so take extra care around traffic. She’s also trained to come to a two-tone whistle over long distances, similar to a catcall. Calling her ‘Cassie Bear’ will help put her at ease. *Also please note I am often in areas without great cell signal, but voicemails and texts will always come through.
