Owners/Adopters/Fosters: Visit Chicago Animal Care and Control 2741 S. Western Ave. in Chicago from 12 to 7 PM daily and weekends arrive by 5:30 PM if planning to adopt same day. Fosters: see approved rescue groups, fill out an application ASAP & follow up with that rescue. Fostering is temporary, still saves and care costs are provided by the rescue. Approved CACC Rescues:

Note: Today, 4/1/26 is the 3rd day of this shepherd’s stray hold. Shepherds at CACC are only available for “Fostering” to rescue after the 3-day stray period.
