Please keep feeding and giving water if you cannot take in and foster. If that friendly, probably was owned and then dumped of also unfixed. Can you get checked for a chip? Or take to ACCT?

Shared your post. Any vet will do a free chip check to see if owners can be identified. Be cautious with anyone claiming this is their cat - you want vet records or a reference and pics. (People look for free bait animals constantly and they usually send a girl so you won’t suspect.) This cat clearly was loved, and is very comfy with you, not feral.
