Found/Stray Dog in Del City, OK 73115

pit or pit mix with black nose & black & pink paws. 1 large white spot that goes from her mouth/lower face, down her chest & onto the stomach, white feet/paws, light brown/tan on the entire top of her body & legs.

She came onto my property last week. i talked to her softly & she eventually came up to me. i fed her & gave her water, but couldn't bring her inside out of the heat. she was a healthy weight when she came, but had a long cut wound on her back, a severe red rash on her stomach, was dirty, had fleas, ear mites, was scared & would cower from people, but wanted to be loved & would go up to the front door & cry/whine. she's been given a flea pill/chew, treated her ears with special fungal dog ear wash, cleaned her wounds & given a flea bath. (much happier now!) i took her to my neighbors hse & asked if he could take her inside out of the heat since i'm not able to. he always wanted a female pit! unfortunately, he can't keep her because his dogs don't like her & try to attack her. she's now having to stay in his work garage that has no A/C, has work tools & dust flying from his work, etc. she has a chip, but no one's answered the number registered & hasn't returned our messages. no one's called us from the posters we placed either. we think she's about 2 years old & has possibly been abused because of the way she cowers from people. we've had her for a over a week & she hasn't peed or pooped in his garage, she asks to be let out to go, so we think she's hse broken! she does good with outside cats & wants to play with both my dogs & his dogs (our dogs won't let her), but we don't know how she is with children. she HATES to be left alone & will cry & whine if done so. she needs a home that will treat her like a member of the family, can provide her with attention & given lots of love &/or even other non aggressive big dogs to play with. she's extremely sweet, so we've been calling her cupcake! once she trusts you, she's loyal. my neighbor who is keeping her in his garage has to open the garage door for ventilation. she will stay by his side, walk around his yard & not run off even when there's stray cats or other owners walking their dogs right past her! however, she will come straight over to my hse if she here's my door open or shut & wait right outside my door for me to give her attention, pets & a treat, then has me walk her back over lol. she completely ignores & walks away from anyone she hasn't had an encounter with, because she doesn't trust them. even though we've fallen in love with her, neither one of us has the ability to keep her. if this is your dog or you would like to give her a home PLEASE reach out to me & text or call. she deserves something better than an extremely hot, loud & stinky garage that eventually will become a cold, stinky & loud garage! located in del city, Oklahoma.
