Eva Hrachovsky Thank you! She was trapped yesterday but unfortunately got away from Animal Control. In the past when I have used Animal Control I just drive to their facility and wheel the Trap directly into their facility, they then transfer the animal into a holding area. Sadly the after hours officer insisted on coming to where the dog was trapped, tried using a catch Pole and the dog was able to gator roll out of it and get away. Genny Kowalski and Nick Marra are on it. The dog was being chased and did not settle until we found out you were feeding it but another Trapper stepped in, got the dog but when animal control showed up it all went South. Food trumps fear so I'm confident the dog will go back into a trap, hopefully anyway. It's just so important that people do not chase the dog. What you are doing is exactly what Trappers do to get the dog coming back. So thank you so much. ❤️Read More
Kim Dyer-Oconnell sorry just seeing this! She is coming back to the same area. My colleague and her daughter were able to feed her this weekend.Read More
There has to be a plan when you trap a dog, you can't just trap the dog and say okay who's going to take it because the Trapper can't take it home. So they are trying to figure out what to do and once the dog Settles they can move forward with the trapping... it would be great if the dog had a chip or a phone number on the collar but you have to get the dog first. Since the dog has bitten three people, not sure what animal control will do. I'm sure the dog is terrified and when someone tries to grab you that's your only defense.Read More
Eva Hrachovsky please keep putting food for this dog down. That way the dog will hang around. Nick Marra is trying to trap this dog but the dog has not settled. If you could continue to put food down the dog will continue to come back. Do not try to catch, just feeding the dog food and water would be great. Can Nick pm you?Read More
