Shared. Please read to the end. Birds will usually stay in the trees and on the roofs above the door they left. Leave her cage with the door open and food and water inside near that door, leave the house door open if possible. If she has a friend or mate leave it in its cage with the cage closed near that door as well so it can call to its mate/friend. See You Tube for soundtracks of same species tweeting and trying playing it to the outside - this has worked for some. See Pawboost for other suggestions and sample posters. Post all around the neighbourhood especially in well treed areas, Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters (e.g SPCA) and Toronto Animal Services. Post on FB lost and found pets. Google lost birds Toronto and the same for Ontario for more suggestions. There are a few sites devoted to lost birds in Toronto and Ontario BUT beware of scam sites that allege to find your bird.
