Make sure you have the lights on around the house. Open a back and or side door and put cooked chicken pieces with cat nip a few inches inside. Also get a heated Cat house outside with her blanket so he can smell it . and put some cooked chicken and cat nip inside . not a lot, enough for her to smell and go inside. Cats do wander and they get scared of anything that moves, so the more smells the better. Good luck and God bless your baby and bring her home.

Put out something that she's familiar with that carries her scent (a bed, a blanket but NOT a litterbox). CALL FOR HER IN THE QUIET, STILL HOURS (11pm-7am). THIS IS SO IMPORTANT (5am seems to be the luckiest hour)!!!!!!! Scared cats move around while the rest of the world is still. Put out food in intervals (not at night) when you can keep an eye out. Talk to your neighbors, generally, they don't go far and find an open garage or shed to huddle down. If these suggestions don’t work: lost pet cats may not respond the way you’d expect your beloved kitty to and they may not just come to your calling so be prepared to have to use a humane trap (she will return to herself once she’s back inside) and put signs in your local pet store (if someone takes her in they will need litter and food). There is a black cat picked up yesterday at Cleveland Animal Control posted on this same website, doesn't say if it's a girl or boy, but just wanted to let the owner know. Praying it's your kitty ❤️

If chipped contact your microchip company and make sure your information is updated and file a lost cat report there Some people suggest leaving a door open alittle bit may come home on there own Put something with scent there also Bedding your unwashed clothing Litter box anything that has your cats scent Cats are night creatures May try to come home early morning while dark and try to get back inside This works well Also Go outside and sit down on the ground so she can see your face not feet and calmly call name If likes treats shake bag and listen for meowing could be stuck in a garage or shed or under porches Check out the shelters in person and take a flyer or photo there also Check out the neighbors and let them know that your kitty is missing If all else fails put out a HUMANE trap then with wet food or tuna and cover with a towel to keep calm and warm if caught and check it out every 2hours and don't leave overnight unattended You can face the entrance of the trap towards a window or door to keep a better eye on it.
