Moco is Missing in Mesa, AZ

Tall dark brown , black and tan Chihuahua. Coat almost looks like a german shapard. 2 small circles of light tan undercoat showing on lowerback right above hip joints. Greying face.

Lost Chihuahua! Missing senior dog! Moco is my best friend of 16 years I've had him since I was a child. He was (securly i thought) in a mesa backyard while I was staying with friends and got out. He is usually just looking for me but because we aren't mesa locals I'm uncertain where he would go to look. He is 16 years old. Tall Chihuahua mix. Coat has similar color to a german shepherd.. light tan belly and undercoat, dark brown top layer with black covering most of his back following his spine. On his lower back just atop his hip bones are 2 light tan quarter sized (bit larger maybe) circles/spots where the very top brown/black layer of his coat was snipped off and just hasnt grown back. Very distinctive. Moco is very sweet! Kinda stinky! Loves to eat and although He has poor teeth he has a huge appetite and will attempt to eat whatever is offered or in potential reach he will try to eat all that smells good but struggles with things harder or chewier than a hot dog. He has a friendly temperment tho has a slight preference to women than men. He isn't normally aggressive unless in pain. He loves kids and little animals like cats, young puppies and is very gentle with all. He takes the hint if any of the above would like space and leaves them alone.. however he is a ladies man, although old and functiality is questionable he IS unfixed and his perception seems to be sure that any female dog would gladly take his attention/ affection no matter how little she shows interest. Or how much she indicates disinterest. But again he is not ever aggressive to female dogs any gender cat and people in general. If he had some inclination there might be a lady pup in heat anywhere near by (his nose is still somewhat functional I think) I'm sure he would determinedly try to pay a visit. He is a little delusional in his old age. He acts young enough but if you pay attention you can see that hes not all there all of the time. I think if he hasnt been picked up by a caring neighbor then he is in so much danger. When threatened by aggressive and/or larger male dogs he will assume he is the same size. He would likely not be scared of an interaction. Please please help me find him!
