This (boy)? has been visiting our back yard for a couple weeks. He walked into a kennel last night. He is safe, ahead of fireworks week. We will take him for a chip scan to hopefully return him to loved ones.

We are looking for a new home for him. We had him neutered, vax'd, chipped, wormed, nail trim in preparation for his new family. He is overly affectionate, very athletic, talks alot. He doesn't seem to know his strength and pushes into you for petting. We are working on 'personal space' and his rough play that goes too far sometimes... He's learning. Let me know if you are interested 😊

Thank you for being so kind to help keep this kitty safe. 🐾 IF YOU FIND A CAT 🐾 Here’s what to do to help reunite a lost kitty with their family: 1. Post Online Share the found cat on local lost/found pet Facebook pages and neighborhood apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighborhood • Local community groups 2. Check for a Microchip Take the cat to a nearby veterinarian or animal shelter to be scanned for a microchip. • Many animal rescuers have their own scanner and may be able to help. • Always use a secure cat crate or carrier to prevent escapes. 3. Put Up “FOUND CAT” Signs Not everyone is on social media! Post signs around the neighborhood - especially near where the cat was found. 4. File a Found Report This is very important. Contact your local animal shelter to report the found cat: • Mission Viejo Animal Shelter 📞 (949) 470-3045 5. Foster if You Can If you’re able, please foster the cat while trying to locate the owner. It keeps them safe and off the streets. 6. Verify Ownership Ask anyone claiming the cat to provide proof of ownership, such as: • Photos of the cat • Vet records • Identifying details
