Description

White pigeon or dove, appears to have red eyes. Not banded.

Message from Finder

Since midday Thursday June 18th the bird has been walking around in the small enclosed garden where I work. I thought it would be best to report. Nothing found in community Facebook groups. I AM INCLUDING MY PERSONAL # BUT: This is a health care facility and would have to involve our security and buildings people, but I will be there on the 19th all day, assuming the bird is still there in the morning.

This appears to be a domestic dove, which is highly vulnerable to predators and needs to be sheltered. I will cross-post on Facebook page: Palomacy Help Group for Pigeon & Dove Rescue & Adoption. This group is very responsive. There are resources locally.

I have cross-posted on the very helpful Facebook page: Palomacy Help Group for Pigeon & Dove Rescue & Adoption. This appears to be a domestic pigeon, self-rescuing. Ideally the bird should be placed in predator-proof shelter asap. Thank you for advocating for the little guy.
