Dogs in flight or fright mode are typically scared and will make themselves safe by finding a good hiding place. Often times owners can be right above them calling out to them but they are too afraid to move. Give them time. In the meantime - General Information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house (EX Worn clothing / shoes from a family member/owner that the dog lives with.) Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Owners: Do not try and search for the dog - as your scent travels when you are out and walking all over can confuse the dog. The dog should only smell your scent near your home. Never underestimate the ability of a dog to find their way home using their nose. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing to see if it has been picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Please post on the Nextdoor app. I’ve that there are people that search for pets with drones. I don’t know anymore about it than that. Except that they seem to use them in rural or forested areas. Can you put up flyers around the area? Get your pups face and info out there.
