LINCOLN NEBRASKA AND SURROUNDING AREAS LOST AND FOUND PETS
Put out some of your clothes and bedding along with a can of cat food or tuna to give kitty a scent trail to follow. Put up a few flyers in the area or notify neighbors to check sheds, garages, to see if kitty is stuck somewhere. If you have a garage, leave the door up a few inches to give kitty a place to seek shelter.
Go out after dark with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Shine it under porches, decks, bushes, up trees, and in window wells.
Be sure to walk through the humane society in person because you’re the only one who will know your cat. Some cats look alike.
