Message from Owner

Hey neighbors. If you live in Windy Meadows, please let me know if you have seen my kitty cat. His name is Mr. Bubba Man. He is not neutered yet, or microchipped. He is a rescued, stray outdoor cat. We have been trying to get him comfortable enough with being inside for longer than a couple of days to prepare for his neuter. He is currently on for his leg and eye. He was still hurt when he ran out of our hse almost 2 weeks ago now, so I am very worried. He is the sweetest boy and is not aggressive, just hurt and hates being indoors for too long. Please let me know if you have seen him or know anything. Our family is grateful for any information. Thank you so much.

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck or in your garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put their litter box outside but depending on where you live, it could bring out predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & the Ring Neighbor app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 8. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 11. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. 12. Last you can rent a humane trap from the shelter and set it with some tasty food. If you have a lot of predators in the area you live, you may want to skip this step. Often your cat is around your home at night.
