Linda Ford Beckner thankfully no but I don’t love that this is a theme. Having dedicated 25 years of my life to veterinary medicine, this is a disgrace to the oath and frankly I’m disgusted that anyone supports an organization that operates so abhorrently. Who’s running this place? 🤮

Christina Russell have you dealt with the Animal foundation shelter? Unfortunately their main goal is to clear the shelter and at times have broken their own rules.. this isn't the first time and won't be the last until their managent is fired

Christina Russell isn't it strange they are saying she was registered as Emerald then they posted a new name saying her family got her, then deleted it in less then 30 minutes after changing her name. Their stories are not adding up.

Christina Russell okay got it I was thinking that too, she was no microchipped and they definitely did when they stole her so the fact the date of registration once I can get in touch with the right people will help, they also changed her name online to some strange name before they deleted it, but I missed that picture of anyone has that, it is also more evidence.

Moana K Louis unfortunately you would need to know the chip number and company TAF claims she had. You couldn’t confirm placement date without receipt from the vet who placed it (TAF in this case if we are thinking they chipped her) as they are purchased in bulk and purchase date from vendor doesn’t equate to placement date. However the company who produces the chip could confirm first registration if someone called in and assigned the number to their name and address. It’s probably not a fruitful endeavor at this point but would be helpful if she was located and a lawsuit was underway. Then she could be scanned and the info possibly used to prove TAFs wrong doings

Nathalie Beck yes. The shelter gave her the temp name of Rheanyra then updated their post saying they found a microchip and her name was emerald according to it. The problem with that is the Good Samaritan who found her having a heat stroke brought her to a nearby vet for treatment where they scanned her and said there was no chip found. I worked in vet med for 25 years and I can say from my experience, not every chip can be read by every chip reader *but* it can detect a chip is there. Most vets carry a universal reader for this reason. The vet then turned her over to TAF and they first stated no chip found then magically found a chip registered to an owner and cats name registered as emerald. The kitty’s real name is Toothless and her actual owner is on this feed Moana K Louis. TAF is refusing to cooperate and correct their mistake….or on purpose…whatever it may be. Elf ear Sphynx are very rare and this little lady has distinct markings on her nose. Moana has pictures of Toothless from her first day with her family as a tiny baby up to recent. Very sad and if this wasn’t something shady I believe anyone in the animal industry would have immediately jumped into action to right their wrong 😭
