To everyone treating this alert like a joke: I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of basic compassion I am seeing in these comments. My cat is missing. A member of my family is out there right now—vulnerable, scared, and lost—and instead of keeping an eye out to help, you are using this platform to mock, laugh, and cast judgment. To those hyper-focusing on his name and making a mockery of my post: this is a lost pet alert, not an invitation for your unsolicited opinions or "rage bait" theories. Your jokes and snide remarks are burying vital information and distracting from the only goal that matters, which is bringing my cat home safely. It takes a deeply miserable person to kick someone when they are already down and panicking. To those making uneducated assumptions about my cat’s care because of his hair loss: you know absolutely nothing about me or the life my animals have. Just like one of the few decent commenters pointed out, severe allergic reactions to a single flea bite can cause sudden bald spots, even with the strictest preventative routines in place. I dedicate a massive amount of my time and energy to the animals in my household—whether it's training my dogs, caring for my Min Pin, GG, or managing the complex daily health needs of my 16-year-old senior dog. I certainly do not need a lecture on animal neglect from strangers on the internet who would rather jump to the worst conclusions than offer a helping hand. I am hurting, I am stressed, and I just want my cat back. If you do not have a sighting to report or helpful information to share, keep scrolling and get off my post. You are helping no one. To the few people who actually defended us and showed a shred of empathy—thank you. To the rest of you: I hope you never have to experience the heartbreak of losing a pet, only to be met with a wall of cruelty when you desperately ask your community for help.

Lindy Wesemann if a flea gets on my cat and bites her she will lose hair. The flea dies but she still gets a reaction. When I fight fleas off my dogs she ends up with a bald spot. Just sayin. It’s not the lack of care that made my cat lose hair.
