Description

This is not Stubbins, but his brother. Stubbins that is my lost cat is similar looking. He is a pure white Manx cat. He has a stub for a tail. He is longer than my other Manx in this photo and angular. He is an indoor only cat and is 16 years old. He has never been outdoors. He would be very shy outdoors from others.

Message from Owner

This is not my cat that is missing, but my other Manx. I have had this cat since he was a kitten of 8 weeks. I have had him for 16 years this month. He is very loved and indoor only. His sibling was sent to cat heaven as he was very sick just last month. To lose them both in the same month is devastating. I rescued them from the same litter and brought them home at 8 weeks and both turned 16 this month. If you find him, or see him, he looks like my last Manx in this photo. He and his brother were always intertwined, so I have no photos of him alone. All white Manx cats are a rare find and he is a shy but beautiful cat with a lovely disposition. Outdoors I imagine he would be very frightened. It has been a long time and perhaps there is no hope, but if you even see a white cat with a stub, that would be him.

I'm so sorry he got out! Stubbins is HIDING very near the escape point. Leave the escape door open 4 inches from sunset onward...place WET food by the open escape door (did he escape from the FRONT street side or backyard side?) BUY a mini blink camera NOW on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F3BC8661?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_EV1DNPP9EGMHGDX3FJEG the camera will be delivered by tonight so you can aim the camera at the wet food bowl tonight and ONGOING nights as it can take many nights for a scared cat to come to the food sometimes due to fear of predators. Yes he is hiding from ALL humans in survival mode. But he is THERE HIDING - he will not leave - CALL for him tonight - set your alarm to sit outside at 12am and 3am - shine a flashlight under parked cars (if from the front) and Bushes and under the deck...crawl space TO CATCH THE GLOW of his eyes. You MUST get a camera aimed at WET FOOD - NO dry food - dry food will attract raccoons. Also to avoid ANTS swarming the food overnight please place the bowl inside a larger bowl or a deep plate and fill the outer bowl/plate with 1/2 inch of water so ants can't cross over. make sure the bowl doesn't touch the sides). You WILL find him . If he hides from you BUT you see him come to the wet food in the upcoming nights - THEN the next step is to humanely trap him...I can loan you a trap (though I am in San Francisco) or you can borrow/rent a trap locally and I can facetime you or whatsapp you to SEE how you set it up and guide you - free of course - i just want you to know you can get him home - AND YOU WILL! don't rely on online - talk to your neighbors IN PERSON. if they are not home then tape a flyer securly to their front door using painter's tape (won't harm the door) then go back later to try to talk to them - ask neihgbors to look at RING camera footage for night activity.... with love, damia 650-339-6619
