If she/he is an indoor cat it will typically stay in a 3 to 7 house radius of her home. Indoor/outdoor cats can be up to 17 + houses away. It will hide all day and only come out very late at night. It will not typically come when called. The majority of cats came home between 2 and 4 AM. Leave your garage and porch doors open. Around 10PM put out rotisserie chicken (warm, the smell really carries). Throughout the night get up and go out side. Walk the 3 to 5 house radius and call softly, listen carefully, it could be stuck up in a tree or locked in a neighbor's garage. One man set his alarm and got up every hour and another slept on the couch and heard the cat scratching at the door. I recently heard of one rescue who takes chicken stock and makes a trail of it from the street or yard up to the house. They even poured it up in the bushes and trees where the wind could carry the smell. Other people have used catnip to help lure their cat home. Use a flashlight to look for your cat’s eyes at night. You will lose sleep, but this has worked time and time again. There is a very helpful video on YouTube called “How to find a lost cat.” Good luck Don’t give up! A local blind cat was found after a month!

Hi everyone 👋 Please help us get our beloved Seuss home Missing from our home in Marina Sound 😓We were traveling to find she had accidentally been let out. Seuss is on food diet Vets primarily Banfield west pines ( she is do for a wellness check up) Sunset lakes Animal clinic She is microchipped - Missing Sunday evening April 14 Marina Sound Seuss came into our lives when our son a student at UF rescued her. She had suffered a broken femur. He was given the choice of a risky experimental surgery, putting her down, or amputation. He chose amputation a costly surgery for a new graduate but we thank god every day for his decision. She came home to us the evening after her surgery and had been with us ever since. We have been blessed to have her and we pray she will be back home soon. Seuss normally travels with us and is rarely home alone. Who says cats don’t travel well hasn’t met Seuss!!❤️ Last weekend was an exception. Seuss is not an outside ( we are extremely protective of her) cat but she knows her Surroundings. She is let in our backyard on occasion under our supervision We have put posters up Have her litter box out Blankets Articles of clothing and blankets We are walking neighborhoods calling for her, handing out flyers Talked to neighbors And of course praying 🙏 Thank you to all our neighbors that are supporting us in our search for Seuss 💕
