My cat Ozzy is strictly an indoor cat that we’ve had for 2 and a half years. He slipped out the front door when I unexpectedly left it open at about 9:30 tonight and he’s been gone ever since. He’s very skiddish but very sweet, please contact me if you find him, it would mean the world to me to have him back.

Will youre welcome. I know. 🥺🐈‍⬛🖤 Try to do what the other lady commented. Cats are so smart. Hopefully he hasnt gone far. They can always find their way back. Put his food & treats out with something he snuggles with for scent & keep an opening for him to come in. Fingers crossed dear.

Cathy Mucke Harber haven’t put any food out in a can but what’s the reason not to? He’s very skittish so even if I see him on the street I don’t think he will come up to me. Just got a humane trap to hopefully catch him tonight. I will be up in the late hours calling his name with the door open as well. Thanks for the advice

No food served in the can, I hope?! Key is to keep calmly calling your cat at all hours, especially the wee hours & looking for it, using a flashlight to help see its eyes… Look all around your house inside and out and under everything including greenery & especially in all dark places…Check high and low! And if you haven’t already, please ask all your neighbors to check their garages, sheds, etc. in case your cat got closed inside one & notify Hitchcock Animal Shelter & check there daily as necessary! 🤞🏼
