Message from Owner

Please help us find our beloved boy, Leo, the cat. He came to us as a stray almost 2 years ago and flatly refused to be a fully indoor cat. He has gone AWOL for a day or two before, but he always came back because he knew where the food was. We are especially concerned because he had a bite wound on his head and we were going to take him to the vet the day he disappeared. He may not respond to his name or be friendly to strangers, but he will surely respond to food offerings! We miss him terribly and worry that the bite wound will become infected if not treated properly. Please check backyards and sheds and any areas where a frightened or injured animal might hide around your property. Thank you!

Hi Colette, Thanks so much for sending the pix. Sorry I didn't see this earlier! That looks like him but Sanchez/Dorland is pretty far from where my partner lives in Bernal Hts., which is where Leo has lived for the last 2 years. I have an apartment on Sanchez & Market, so I suppose it's possible that somehow he tracked me over there, but it's hard to say for sure if that's him unless I can see him in person. Has he been hanging out in a specific spot for a period of time? I see your message is from 3 days ago so he might be gone but please let me know. The cat in photo looks like it has more white around the nose than Leo, and maybe some white on the chest, but otherwise looks like him. If you see him again, please DM me! thanks so much!!

Please keep your eyes peeled for this little guy. Take a minute to check your sheds and outbuildings in this area? Thank you!
