This love-bug came up to me on my porch at my apmt and is very sweet. He was friendly, even when I gave him a bath! He has so much personality and was not scared of me at all, which makes me feel as if he is someone’s pet.

Check for chip. Any vet will do it for free. Lots of flyers. Post on Nextdoor if you can. Hope you find his humans

I really don't think that's Mitch, my cat that disappeared a few weeks ago. But another angle would help confirm. The 6 toes thing probably rules him out - but truth be told I never actually counted his toes so, maybe? Mitch was chipped would this cats chip have been read yet?
