Thank you all! We miss Totoro and hope to find him soon. We are searching daily, and have signs up around the area. We've contacted the local humane society, listed him as lost and gave his microchip number. I will try contacting local vets now too.

Check up in trees, on your roof, under decks, under your home if you have broken foundation vent covers, and under low growing shrubs on your property and ask all your neighbors to check their property. NEVER put food or a cats litter box outside. Both will attract wild animals ( bears, foxes, wolves, bob cats are all in your area right now). Go IN PERSON to all local animal shelters to search for your cat. The nice people answering their phones will not know about all the cats dropped off or brought in by Animal Control. Call all local veterinary offices to check if anyone has brought your cat in to be scanned for microchip or treated for an injury. Post photos of your cat all around your neighborhood, inside grocery and pet supply stores. Put a laundry basket of your unwashed clothing outside near your door. Cats generally bond with their owners and this may help your confused or lost cat find its way home. Inside only cats live longer and are healthier than cats that live outdoors.
