Fur is identical to the missing post it just looks darker because I gave the ferret a bath just now due to there being fleas covering the ferret.

Message from Finder

The ferret followed me all the way walking from the gas station early this morning and seemed very friendly. It was wet and chilly out so naturally I brought them in.

Joe Anthony Martinez I handed her over to Pasadena animal shelter because her missing ad was from 20 days ago at the time I found her and I figured it was in her best interest to be professionally assessed. They took down her owners id number and email through pawboost. I never got a reply from the owner but I’m sure they gave up their search for their ferret almost a month after losing her. Pasadena animal shelter explained if the owner didn’t collect her she would go for adoption I’m sure you could call and inquire.

Alyssa Moniquee so this is the ferret that I found that was missing. I had reached out to the owner through pawboost multiple times but never got a reply. I figured it was in Mila’s best interest to receive professional attention given her situation of being missing in the wild for 20+ days so I brought her in to the Pasadena animal shelter. The people there took down Mila’s owners id number through their missing ad as well as their pawboost email. They explained if the owner didn’t come claim her she would go for adoption. Now I believe I never received any reply because they probably gave up hope looking any longer with it being almost a month missing. Hopefully she can be reunited this way or atleast find a new loving and suitable home.

Regina Goodman it 100 percent is. I emailed the owner multiple times and sadly never got a reply. See, the missing ad for her was posted 20 days prior to me finding Mila, I’m sure the owner gave up searching because it’s actually incredibly remarkable a ferret survived almost a month out in the wild like that. It had flooded the day before I found her and it was 52 degrees outside that morning. I did what was best for Mila’s situation and dropped her off with Pasadena animal shelter so that they could assess her condition/needs as far as vitals, hydration, hunger, fleas, or possible parasites. The people at the animal shelter were very happy to take her in and they wrote down the owners Id number on her missing ad as well as the email I had for her through pawboost. They explained if she didn’t come get her then she would end up going for adoption. She was very sweet, like I said in the ad she followed me home from the gas station and actually when I looked down at her she had gotten up on her 2 feet and held her arms out to me. I felt terribly sorry for her I hope she’s able to be reunited or atleast finds a suitable home. I would have loved to taken her in but I have two large dogs.
