I’m so sorry to hear about losing your buddy Kevin. It’s heartbreaking. It looks like Leslye covered most of the suggestions. 24Petconnect is another site to post your info. When we lost our bird last year, we printed up at least 100 flyers with lost bird in large bold print at the top and a cell phone number at the bottom and a photo in the middle so it can be easily read from passing cars and we laminated some and used a hole punch and zip tied to attach them to every stop sign in the neighborhood for 4 mi.². We also put a flyer in every mailbox we could find. I hope you find him soon! He reminds me of my beloved Pancho.

Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
