Message from Owner

Cocoa is very skittish and may be hard to catch. Gentle cat. His owners are senior citizens who dearly miss him. He has a tabby brother who misses him too. He's microchipped so please scan if you can.

Have you tried a tracker? I don't know if they do trackers for cats. Have you tried some tuna? That's how my daughter got her cat to come back days and days and days we hunted and hunted and hunted and a couple people said they spotted him, but no one Definitively was able to grab her baby. So finally, my daughter put out some tuna on a little plate at dinner time the tiniest little bit cause it's so strong in the smell and Harry came if only we know that days before right? I wish I knew what else to tell you other than everyone tells me cats don't usually go far

Tuna fish. Tiny but at dinner time. Strong scent to bring home. But don't leave out.

It would be nice if people in the surrounding area would help look for this cat since the owners may not be able to do the typical things to look like walking around, putting up signs, checking home cameras. Someone may be feeding this fella and since heโ€™s young and probably scared, he may stay near a food/water source.

So sorry to hear that your cat is missing, here are some things that might help in your search. Put out things that smell like your cat, like their toys, bed, definitely their favorite food and water. And things that smell like you such as a shirt or blanket. Double check every place in your house, and garage, and in the bushes around your house. Cats will hide in the darndest places. Get flyers up in the area and make sure your neighbors are all aware to be on the lookout. Post on all the Lost Pet sites for where you live, and those will get shared.. If your cat is micro chipped, which I hope it is, check with the microchip company in case somebody finds your cat . If you have Ring or other security cameras outside, check those, and ask neighbors if they can check theirs as well. And if you've heard about coyotes in the area, please don't continue to let them outside. Please bring them inside and keep them inside to keep them safe going forward.
