My cat Waffles ran away on July 18th when we were moving. She ran into the backyard and she haven’t seen her since. We have been going back to the old address every night to look for her. Missing cat poster has been put up around the neighborhood and we have handed out flyers to all the neighbours. We have checked backyards of nearby hses and we have been putting out food and water. I’ve had her since she was 7 months old and we just celebrated her 4th birthday. She is my whole world and want her back on her favourite cat tree so she can continue yelling at birds.

A good list of things to do is on www.catsinthebag.org (Click in the actual link, not the box.) Also get signs up and file a lost report with Animal Services/local shelter(s) or a similar organization under another name, and keep checking their listings. Make sure your microchip is registered, and the company has your up to date info. WAFFFLES is adorable. Now let’s find him. He will be very nervous and likely hiding not far from your home. When you’re out searching this evening take a flashlight with you. The light will shine off his eyes and makes it easier to locate him. Look under every veranda and bush and any tiny place he may be hiding. Ask your neighbours to search their garage and under their porch or perhaps they will allow you to. He may have also climbed up a tree, so look there as well. Take a bag of treats and shake them while calmly calling his name. Put up posters and contact shelters in your area every 3 days to see if he has been turned in. If you haven’t yet gotten him micro chipped, please do, so should this happen again he can be returned to you. GOOD LUCK ❤
