Lynda Ingle we actually went to the Humane Society and looked at this dog. This is not her. The snout is too long, but it’s very similar.

Tonya Reno I came here to say the same thing. Obviously the dog is not ready for a public environment and needs training to be able to ignore this type of situation. As a trainer and SD handler myself, you have to take action and keep your dog safe. If you can’t do that or have control of the dog then it shouldn’t be in public. This situation is sad and shouldn’t have happened. With that being said the dog is being labeled as a service dog not a service dog in training which gives the impression that the dog is fully trained when it’s clearly not old enough to have gone through the training needed to be a successful service dog. I have a diabetic alert dog so I’m well aware of the training requirements needed for this type of task. I hope they find their dog and then seek help with recovery training and fully reaching their goals with this dog.
