This cat came to our backyard on the 22nd of July and has not left since. It just wants to come inside and sleep on our deck which makes me believe that this cat has a home. Unfortunately I am very allergic to cats so I would love to find its home. Tomorrow I will be calling a pet rescue center for them to scan a microchip if it exists and hopefully find it’s family

Carrie Biondo I have been feeding the cat after day 5 of it not seeming to leave our yard. We don’t have any pets so unfortunately we don’t have a pet carrier which is why I have not gone to that step yet.

Require proof of ownership. Take by vet to scan for chip (no cost). File online found reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers.

You can take cat to any veterinarian office & have scanned for chip for free,always transport cats in a pet carrier. Post on nextdoor. Kitty looks skinny, can you feed cat? Thank you for caring for her.

You might want to check with a few of your neighbors. It is a possibility that he belongs to somebody.
