Message from Owner

This is Roscoe. I just brought him home this evening, he is a rescue from a puppy mill and is super skittish. He pulled out of his collar and ran off up Comanche creek heading north. I followed him but he lost me in the bends up north. He is chipped. If anyone finds him Please let me know

Owners - Go back to the location where the dog went missing as the dog will usually circle back to the location where they first went missing eventually. Stay there - in one localized area and set up a scent station using a scent that the dog is familiar with (can you go back to the rescue that he was adopted from to see if they have any worn clothing from someone he may be familiar with?) - worn clothing or shoes from the owner. Hang that scent out high so that it can travel and guide the dog back to that area. Post fliers with your contact information and dogs picture in the location that the dog went missing --especially for those not on social media. If the dog is spotted the information can help provide what direction it was traveling. Check with local animal shelters in case he was picked up. Prayers your dog is found safely.
