Message from Owner

We are desperately looking for our dog Eddie, who went missing Wednesday morning with his sibling named Gus. The dogs were last seen together Wednesday afternoon, but somewhere between 6 o’clock and 10 o’clock Wednesday night. The dogs were separated after that there was only sightings of the white dog Gus. After 52 hours of searching on foot, going door-to-door, and using a night drone, we finally found the white dog Gus. Last night we used the dog rescued drone service again with no luck finding the black dog, Eddie. He has been missing for three days now, and we cannot figure out what separated the dogs. We desperately want to find Eddie whether he is alive or deceased. It is breaking our heart, not knowing where he is.

Eddie was found deceased, unfortunately. Owners posted about it yesterday. Gus was found safe.

Share all over different neighborhood pages. Someone may have tried to help them and picked up just one of the dogs. I see posts frequently saying found this dog, but the other one ran off. Call local vet offices, hang up lost photos in their waiting rooms. I will share this. Sometimes local news stations will share a quick segment. I feel like news stations should always make time to share lost pets!

Look in person at least 2x a day dusk and dawn. Start at your house. Look inside and out. In and under everything. Porches, decks, cars, tall grasses garages and sheds. Ask neighbors to do the same. Notify your vet ask to post a pic on their website and in office. Add other vet offices to contact as well. Visit the shelter every other day in person. You know your dog shelter staff is busy beyond belief and have overlooked dogs because when they came into the shelter they didn’t look like their photo. Please never give up.
