My puppy, Owen was picked up by a lady named Orquidea Lopez on Thursday, 1/22/26. While I was happy that someone found him, I was grateful that I was going to be reunited with him. That was not the case. This lady lied and eventually became unresponsive to my phone calls and messages. Now all I’m left with is a hope and a prayer that she does the right thing and return my Owen to me. If anyone knows her or has seen my Owen, please reach out to me asap!

Go public. Tell the media like wgn what she did and her location. They will go knocking believe me. She will return your dog just not to be followed around like a criminal she is.

Post it on petfbi.org (Lost Dogs Illinois) and include the picture of your dog and a screenshot of the person who stole your dog along with her name on there. PetFBI will create a flyer for you that you can then circulate on social media and also post all over the area where your dog was lost and where your dog was found. Flyers work amazingly well !
